New VP of Operations brings 20 years of experience leading healthcare organizations.

November 15, 2004, Mesa, Arizona.  NextCare Urgent Care, leading provider of urgent care and occupational medicine, announces the appointment of Laurel Stoimenoff as Vice President of Operations.  Stoimenoff  has served as a consultant for NextCare in a development role since April 2004. 

Stoimenoff  will take up her new responsibilities following a restructuring of the operations functions within the organization.  Her role will be to operationalize and streamline NextCare’s growth by directing clinic operations, marketing and customer service.  Additionally,  Tracy Patterson, MBA, MHSA, will assume the integral role of Vice President of Development.   Her focus will be on the implementation of new services, identifying key markets, and site development.  Ms. Patterson is an important member of the operations team, based on her long standing experience and expertise in the urgent care business.

Prior to accepting her position with NextCare, Stoimenoff was President of Apex Management and Development, LLC, a private healthcare consulting company.   She has also served as Senior Vice President of Development for Comprehensive Medical Imaging, a division of Cardinal Health, President of Matrix Rehabilitation, a division of Beverly Enterprises, and VP of Western Operations for NovaCare Outpatient Rehabilitation. Her experience in multi-site, multi-state management is a solid fit for NextCare.

2005 will prove to be a very busy year for NextCare.  Aside from Arizona, four (4) additional centers are under development in Colorado and other key markets have been identified for potential acquisition and de novo expansion.
