Urgent care centers provide an important resource for the evaluation and management of patients who have developed a sudden illness or injury. The facilities enable patients to obtain convenient and cost effective health care for non-emergency conditions when their primary care physician is unavailable and an emergency room visit is not appropriate. Urgent Care facilities are equipped to handle a variety of ailments including sprains, strains, pneumonia, abdominal pain, cold and cough, flu and lacerations.  NextCare also provides drug screens, physicals and treatment for occupational injuries.
