Company now has two clinics to serve Northern Arizona.

MESA, Ariz. (January 3, 2012)—NextCare Urgent Care has acquired Sedona Urgent Care, bringing its total number of clinics nationwide to 72.

On Tuesday, January 1, NextCare acquired Sedona Urgent Care—the company’s second Arizona location north of Phoenix. It’s first is located in Cottonwood, approximately 20 miles southwest of the new Sedona location. The newest clinic is at 2530 W. State Route 89A, Suite A and will soon be rebranded as NextCare Urgent Care. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

NextCare’s Cottonwood location is located at 450 S. Willard St., Suite 120, and is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.

One of the nation’s leading providers of urgent care services, NextCare has 25 additional locations in Arizona.

“This past year has seen a significant period of growth for us,” said John Julian, CEO of NextCare. “We are thrilled with our continued growth in Northern Arizona so we may better serve those in need of urgent medical care but don’t necessarily need to go to the emergency room.”

No appointments are necessary, and patients will soon be able to check-in online through WAHOO! (Wait at Home or Office) and wait at home until they are contacted when their exam room is ready.

For those without health insurance, high deductibles or gaps in coverage, NextCare’s ValueCare discount program can offer relief. The membership card can save as much as 50 percent on most NextCare services.

Customer Testimonials

“The whole experience was 100% better than going to a hospital emergency room. I am thankful there are places like this for minor conditions like we had Saturday. The nurse who saw my daughter was exceptionally good. She had excellent communication skills and made my daughter feel at ease and me, too.”- North Carolina Patient
