This brings the total number of NextCare Urgent Care-operated clinics across the country to 71. Both centers are located in Waco at 1201 Hewitt Dr. #203 and 1135 N. Loop 340, and hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

WUSA-TV in Washington, D.C., reports on NextCare’s donation of 200 sports/school physicals to children in Prince William County, Va.

Two hundred Prince William County children who can benefit most from free and reduced services will receive free health physicals from NextCare Urgent Care so they can enter school and participate in sports in August.

With temperatures well over 100 for the second day in a row, it’s simply dangerous to spend too much time outside. Local clinics and hospitals are seeing what they call an uptick in heat related illnesses.

The sweltering heat has driven many Arizonans to urgent care centers over the past few weeks. NextCare PA Dave Hall in Tucson speaks to KMSB reporter Lou Raguse about the types of visits his NextCare has seen lately, and what people can do to stay safe.

Health care reform on a federal level might not be dead yet, but it certainly is on life support.

With President Barack Obama releasing another plan for national reform this week and with members of both parties in Congress digging in their heels and dashing hopes for any compromise, a cure to our health care ills still seems to be in the research stages.
